The superior double room we stayed in was functional with the air conditioning was working, European plug sockets plus private sun-drenched balcony.

Great choice for trip. Satisfactory breakfast — a good choice of meals. Brilliant food, decent sized room with good bathrooms, the large window, air conditioning.

Standard triple room with large bathroom. Best possible, comfortable location in Plasencia, just next door to the old city walls, all cafes / bars and restaurants.

Clean place & well organised and fabulously helpful staff with warm friendly service from nearly every staff member. Historic and top position in the natural area, short walk to the plaza of Plasencia, a very "real " Spanish village, and the restaurant which was exceptional.

Good breakfast, en suite superior double room. Brilliant and good location in Plasencia, near to an excellent restaurant serving local produce, the centre of the town and Old City Center.

The location was best possible and historic for exploring this natural area, near an old monastery, a festival and very nice. Overall it was brand-new and well decorated with large bathroom.

I must comment on its central location - it was excellent.

Stunning and amazing location in the fairly nice area, close enough to bar/cafe, the plaza and center. Nearby Tentempie - great place to chill out.

Historic building, well-preserved with original features. Spacious, clean rooms with balconies and effective air-con. Excellent restaurant, bar, and pool. Courteous and efficient staff. Public areas retain original architecture.

I asked for standard queen room and it was well-appointed with large bathroom. The venue was in a central location not far from centre, the Cathedral, and both restaurant and bar. Downstairs bar was there.

this parador is a hidden gem in plasencia. the staff were so friendly and remembered us from our previous visit. the room was spacious and had a comfy sofa for chilling with friends. we loved the pool area and the food options were amazing. the historic building is breathtaking and the furnishings are a treat for antique lovers like my husband.

Parking elevator system was confusing.

Pool was very small and only opened at 11.00 am each morning. Reception staff unwilling to speak Spanish even though we have lived and worked in Spain for 10 years and are completely fluent.
